Jim Sherwood

Jim Sherwood is the International Vice President of AGI’s Financial Recruiting Division. With a focus on financial process position and responsibilities, Jim’s primary function within AGI is to ensure that the company provides its clients with the very best financial talent available to assist in its growth and expansion.

After earning his undergraduate degree: BS Accounting, San Jose State University, he continued his education to obtain his BS Computer Information Systems, Chapman University and finally his MBA Golden Gate University, San Francisco, CA.

Jim then transformed his education into a three decades work experience with Ford Aerospace and McDonnell Douglas as a finance manager supporting military contracting both at the project level, supporting internal processes and reporting to corporate.

In addition, he was the JD Edwards Americas Finance Director managing the Americas field finance staff supporting sales and consulting lines of business in the software industry.

With Oracle Corporation Global Business Unit (GBU-$1B in revenue), Jim was the consulting finance process owner. Responsible for establishing and communicating process requirements for all of the GBU Finance organization as well as ensuring that the staff has the necessary training and skills to perform their responsibilities.

Upon joining AGI, Jim assumed the role of managing our team of Financial Recruiters and researchers that provide recruiting services for our client’s Financial Recruitment needs.
